Paper Doll Formals
Paper Doll 'Refer a Few' Program

**Get Your Dress For FREE!**
For Brides: Purchase your new bridal gown from Paper Doll and refer 8 of your friends to the store to purchase their gown before your first anniversary. We'll keep a running total of your referrals, and when the 8th woman buys her gown from us, we'll write you a cheque reimbursing you the TOTAL cost of your gown (minus taxes). You could have that money before your first anniversary! The sooner you purchase your gown, the more time you have to get your free gown!
If you're a Grad, you just need to refer 10 of your friends for the same deal.
Check out the Promotions, Contests & Fashion Shows page for all the details.

Once Upon a Time...
a True Story

Paper Doll Formals was created out of frustration – I needed a formal gown for a special event in Victoria, but as I live in the Valley, I wanted to shop in Duncan. Imagine my shock when I realized there were no formal dresses available in the Cowichan Valley! That's when I knew I could do something to fix that – open my own boutique and sell some formal wear

The vision for the store has grown to something MORE...

Something NEW
Bridal, Formal, Saris and Prom dresses & Accessories.

Something OLD
Consignment for Bridal and Formal wear.

Something BORROWED
Rentals for Bridal and Formal wear.

Something BLUE
Every purchasing bride gets a blue stainless-steel water bottle.

A Penny For Your Shoe!
Every purchasing bride receives exclusive deals from local vendors, saving you hundreds of dollars on your wedding!

See you soon at Paper Doll!

Paper Doll Formals Values:

We Are Green-Oriented
Paper Doll Formals makes all our decisions with an "eco" frame of mind including the choice of suppliers, contractors, and operations. Our goal is to become carbon neutral by the year 2015 to offset shipping and manufacturing of all our lines.

We Are Community-Minded
We are part of the community, therefore our goal is to give back to the community whenever possible. Paper Doll Formals has a community-driven initiative; The Princess Project is a work experience and charitable project of teens helping teens. Grade 12 students from the Cowichan Valley gain valuable on-the-job-training working at Paper Doll throughout the school year, while also learning how to create a charitable event enabling all young women to attend prom in a lovely gown, no matter their financial situation.

We Believe in the Power of Education
Education is expensive, and Paper Doll Formals wants to help defray the cost. Every March, to celebrate the opening of the boutique, a fashion show of upcoming formal and prom styles is held at a local community landmark. After the fashion show, entrants who have created their own designs will have them modeled for judging. The winner will receive a $500 scholarship to Pacific Design Academy and more.
